Salman’s close friend Inder Kumar dies at 44!

Known for his supporting role of bestie in superstar Salman Khan’s 2007 blockbuster, ‘Wanted’, Bollywood actor Inder Kumar passed away at 2 am today at his Andheri residence due to a cardiac arrest. He was 44 and bid goodbye to the world after suffering from a prolonged illness.
Son of renowned actor Kiran Kumar, Inder debuted in 1996 with the musical blockbuster, ‘Masoom’ alongside Ayesha Jhulka. He was later seen in ‘Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi’, where he played superstar Akshay Kumar’s brother in the film.
Inder also worked in the famous Star Plus soap, ‘Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’, produced by Ekta Kapoor. He played the role of Mihir Virani in it.
The actor had two film releases scheduled this year and was currently busy in the shoot of a film titled, ‘Phati Padi Hai Yaar’.
In 2014, Inder Kumar was arrested for raping a model, who blamed him for raping her in name of false promises of getting her film roles. The actor had denied raping her but had admitted of being in a consensual relationship with her. Inder’s wife, Pallavi Saraf had also admitted that her husband had slipped to circumstances but stood by him in the trial. He was released on a bail in June the same year.
Actress Raveena Tandon, who had shared the screen with Kumar in ‘Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi’ expressed shock over his death. She tweeted, “Omg shocking news. Worked with him in Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi. Too young to go. May his soul rest in peace. God give strength to his family.”
Meanwhile, the cremation ceremony of Inder Kumar will take place at the Yaari Road Shamshaan Bhoomi at 6 pm and Salman, who is currently in Mumbai may attend it.
