DIYguru, India’s first DIY Learning Platform is planning to enter into $8 Billion Education technology Industry. DIYguru provides Maker’s skill-based online training courses in the field of Automobile, Aerospace, Drones & Robotics. It also specializes in mentoring youth generation.

With AICTE introducing 3D Printing & IoT courses in curriculums, Indian traditional educational system is adapting to modern technological trends. With this dynamic shift, a practical learn-by-doing approach is being given more emphasis over traditional theoretical.
Now, MHRD has taken the decision to introduce more practical classes in Engineering Semesters. But many of Indian educators are not trained or updated as per the technological trends as a result of which Indian students, the future Indian citizens are lagging behind in modern skill-sets. There are more than 7000 colleges in India out of which only selected few are capable of providing their students with proper infrastructure and extra academic, industrial exposure. This makes only 7% of the engineers graduating every year employable.

 The DIYguru team with Avinash Singh as CEO, an alumnus of KIIT University and founder of Autosports with Bishnu Pratap Singh, Akash Jain, Jaskaran Singh and Nishant Kar along with a trainer base of 90 industry experts, researchers is entering into this segment with solutions by providing a platform for upgrading “makers” skills of students, profesionals and faculties. Their pilot phase has already started from selected colleges across India in which they are setting up DIYguru makers centre, which will have mentors and trainers with backgrounds in mdoern technologies and research fields.

 To set up this DIYguru Makers Center, a college will have to fulfill certain criteria with infrastructure parameters like lab set up with DIY Kits and a workstation to run software required in CAD / CAE industry. After the lab is set up,students as well as faculties will be able to develop skill-sets in fields like Electric Cars, IoT, 3D Printing, Robotics, Aerospace, Satelites and Drone Technology.
As of now, DIYguru is having a growing subscriber base of 3000 students and professionals with tieups from startups like Global 3D Labs, Robolution and IIT Delhi startups Vecmocon & BotLab Dynamics. They active and updating online courses catering to innovative companies, professional and students.
