Facebook To Be More Personal By Limiting Public Content

Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Facebook posted a special announcement on January 12, 2018, about some critical changes in the news feed of the site. He shared that the Facebook team is working hard to make sure that people are able to spend quality time on the site and get quite strongly connected to their friends and family without any interruption and distraction.
Mark mentioned that the basic manifesto of the organization is to connect people around the globe but the public content from various brands and business organizations have flooded the news feed, due to which people have to come through a lot of irrelevant stuff rather than the posts and stuff from their own connections.
He also said that “We started making changes in this direction last year, but it will take months for this new focus to make its way through all our products. The first changes you’ll see will be in News Feed, where you can expect to see more from your friends, family, and groups.
As we roll this out, you’ll see less public content like posts from businesses, brands, and media. And the public content you see more will be held to the same standard — it should encourage meaningful interactions between people.”
Now by this, no doubt that people will be comfortable for being in easy and close contact with their friends and family but there is going to be a very adverse effect on the business organisations as Facebook is very convenient mean of advertisement for specifically small business organisations as it tends to be very easy to approach and quite affordable for the users.
