iPhone 8 will look like

Apple is back with its new iPhone 8 having an amazing look.

Edge-to-edge display

According to Sir Jony Ive (Apple’s design chief), now the iPhone will look like one piece of glass, with a screen that covers the front of the iPhone. Clues in the HomePod code suggest the phone will have a 5.8-inch edge-to-edge OLED display. The rumors are that Apple could also replace the device’s aluminum back with a glass back and aluminum bumper.edge to edge display and no home button

No home button

Apple is in a position to get rid of the home button.  So it is said that it will not have a home button as like the successor’s had in the front of them.

Wireless charging

Batteries are still the big problem with mobile phones – as good as they are, most still last just a day – and battery tech is only making incremental progress.

Facial recognition software

The smartphone will come with Facial recognition. The security upgrade is super fast, this enables to scan a user’s face and unlock the device in “millionths of a second”.

It will work with a 3D camera, according to leaked images. It could be used to unlock the phone, log in to apps and verify Apple Pay transactions.

Similar facial recognition is currently available on rival phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S8.

SmartCamIphone 8 with smartcam

The “SmartCam” will identify fireworks, foliage, babies, pets, snow or sport.

Augmented reality directions

Clues in Apple’s upcoming software suggest it will introduce a new method for directing users.

iOS 11

The standout features of iOS 11 are peer-to-peer Apple Pay and a redesigned Control Centre. It also new safety features, including a DND while driving mode and an Emergency SOS option that will lock thieves out when its owner is in danger.

How will it compare to the iPhone 7?

iPhone 8 will come with the A11 chip, the iPhone 8 will no doubt be lighting fast. This smartphone will be more expensive than the base model iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. It will have the largest screen of any iPhone ever made, a 5.8-inch screen, thanks to its almost edgeless design.

Hope Apple launches iPhone 8 as soon as possible.
